Dear fellow runners,

 

Imagine yourself running in the northern most tip of the Philippines on February 21, 2016 (Sunday) during Batanes' Winter season. Yes, there is such thing as winter in Batanes, less the snow of course. :)

Winter? 
Just like Hong Kong and Macau, Batanes has a winter season too. 

Batanes is classified as having Type A climate, a pleasant semi-temperate climate. The Ivatan (people of Batanes) recognize four seasons: rayun (summer), which lasts from March to May, amian (winter) from November to February. Kachachimuyen are the rainy months for the rest of the year, except for a brief spell of warm weather (dekey a rayun) in the two weeks between September and October.
